Opening January 3, 2025| Minnesota State Fairgounds
This year, Ice Castles Minnesota takes over the north side of The Minnesota State fairgrounds in Falcon Heights. Features include ice slides, caverns, archways, and crawl tunnels to explore, a Polar Pub for chilling out, and ice sculptures from local and international artists. Our own Ice Wrangler Jennifer Shea Hedberg, is proud to be a featured artist with works on display throughout the attraction.

Saturday, January 25, 2025 | Old Highland Peace Garden
Come enjoy beautiful ice luminaries created by Northsiders and others for this first of what we hope will become an annual winter tradition for the North Minneapolis community. Hot chocolate and light snacks will be served from 5pm - 7pm. Wintercraft is a sponsor of this event, together with Old Highland Neighborhood Association and St Jane House.
This event is free and open to the public. If you plan to come, please sign up and we will keep you apprised of any updates. Walk ups are welcome, too!

Saturday, February 8, 2025 | Lake of the Isles
Come to the Luminary Loppet to experience a walk around Lake of the Isles. The trail is lit up by over 1,200 luminaries and unique ice features including an Ice Pyramid and Enchanted Forest – all in the heart of Uptown! Find refreshments such as hot cocoa and s’mores along the trail and then head over to the party area for food trucks, Utepils Brewing beer and music! Jennifer Shea Hedberg is the chief artist for the Enchanted Forest this year.
The Luminary Loppet is the Loppet Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year – supporting year-round programs that connect people to the outdoors through experiences that grow community.
