CanadaThe kit is great but the duty to come into Canada was a lot! I also bought the book which is great. I have been making ice candles for a few years but learned many new things. The puck lights are nice but they don’t like -30C won’t work until you bring it in and warm it up. Trying to make a column with a stove pipe. Still working on ng the seam to keep the water in
We find the puck light is ideal for indoor display use. Outdoors one can usually use a string of plug in lights or something similar. If you do want to use a puck light outdoors, insulating the bottom with a soda can cozy cut off works well. Glad you're having fun! As to Canada and its crazy duties.. we wish we had a solution, but the government charges what it does - plus shipping is insanely expensive. Hopefully by next season we'll figure out a better solution. Cheers!
United StatesIt's a Christmas gift for my grandson. He and I will surely LOVE making things for the deck and front yard. We have a previous smaller kit and he loved it.
United StatesThe kit is very thorough and the instructions as well. I had fun making ice balls. Boy are they heavy though, so you might want to work near the area you are going to place them. Love the technique and the results.
