The abrasion-resistant polyurethane coating and insulated acrylic liner were specifically designed to retain warmth while reducing perspiration. The thin, yet durable coating maximizes comfort and flexibility in very cold and wet environments and provides an excellent wet/dry grip to aid in the freezing process and installation of Wintercraft Globe Ice Lanterns. We find the gloves to be useful for a variety of cold weather activities such as snow removal, biking, ice fishing, sledding and much more.
We carry four sizes: Medium (M), Large (L), Extra Large (XL) and Double Extra Large (XXL). The XL size seems to be the most popular and the M size is great for kids! All gloves are blue in color and an order quantity is one pair. We have found that the gloves typically run a bit smaller than standard gloves you would buy in a department store. We recommend the following guidelines for deciding which size is right for you.
Glove Sizing Guidelines (measure from the tip of your middle finger to the bend in your wrist)
Under 6 inches: M
Between 6.5-7 inches: L
Between 7-8 inches: XL
Over 8 inches: XXL
United StatesI’ve made ice sculptures for 3 years in a row. These gloves were fantastic! They have a little bit of a gritty texture on the outside to stop the ice from slipping. The insides were soft and warm. I used them on a -20 degree day and could pack snow slurry between the sections of my sculpture with no problem. My hands were warm and dry. Take the advice and order them in the bigger size. They fit great!

CanadaThese gloves are absolutely the best for handling ice. Warm, with a good grip, flexible, and easy to take on and off when you’re in the middle of a delicate ice placement. And they last for years! I wear mine for almost everything I do outside. Don’t fall prey to the cheap ice gloves on Amazon, which are bulky and stiff and nowhere near the quality of Wintercraft gloves. Definitely good value for the money.
