Balloon-Shaping Freezing Base - Small

Our Reusable Freezing Bases protect the globe ice lantern balloon from sticks and sharp ice-crusted snow, keep the balloon from rolling around, and aid in the formation of the round shape and open cavity (for light source). For freezing indoors in a freezer at any time of year, use with Small Insulating Disk.

 

The Reusable Small Freezing Base creates soccer ball-sized globes that can weigh from 8-16 lbs and are designed specifically for the globe ice lantern freezing process. Field tested and perfect for use in cold weather conditions. Use with Wintercraft Biodegradable Replacement Balloons.  

 

For larger globes, use the Reusable Large Freezing Base.  Made in USA.

    Fun in the winter!

    I used these last year to make ice globes and had so much fun with my grandkids, I wanted to add to my equipment. We can’t wait to use the LED lights!

    Small Base works

    I now have 3 small bases. I like them because they allow me to freeze multiple ice lanterns at the same time when we get a cold snap. I know I'll have a good product. Especially useful this year as I am planning to give many away. Pandemic means we have to spread the light to our community. We all have to work together to get through this winter. What a nice non-caloric , he he, way to do so.
